When do I need to RSVP?

We’re asking everyone to complete the final RSVP as it gives us the information we need for you and your family, including attendance, dietary requirements and any additional assistance you may need.RSVP here

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation and RSVP will show who we have reserved places for. If a partner or additional guest has been included in your invitation, please make sure you add their full details when completing your RSVP. As much as we would love to accommodate everyone, please only RSVP for the guests included in your invitation.

Question 3

Are children welcome?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our wedding is a celebration of our family as much as it is of us, and children who are included on your invitation are very welcome. When completing your RSVP, please include each child’s name, age and any dietary, accessibility or additional requirements so we can make sure our littlest guests are looked after too.

Do I need to attend both the ceremony and reception?

We would love you to join us for the whole celebration, but please let us know through your RSVP whether you will be attending the ceremony, reception or both. The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM at the Church of the Madonna of Lourdes (please be there min 20mins before), followed by the reception at 5:30 PM at Country Terrace.

How do I get to Gozo?

If you’re flying in, you’ll arrive at Malta International Airport on the main island of Malta. Gozo is a separate island, so your onward journey will include a ferry crossing. We recommend planning this part of your journey in advance and allowing plenty of time, particularly if you’re travelling on the day before the wedding. Take a look at our home page for details for more information to help plan your journey.

Where should we stay?

We’ve arranged special wedding guest rates at The Grand Hotel, Gozo, and it’s ideally located for the wedding weekend. One of the reasons we’ve recommended The Grand Hotel is just how easy it makes everything. The hotel is within walking distance of the Church of the Madonna of Lourdes, our reception at Country Terrace and the Mġarr ferry terminal, making it a really convenient base for the celebrations. It’s also only around 10 minutes from Victoria, Gozo’s capital, so you’ll be well placed for exploring the island, sightseeing, restaurants and everything else Gozo has to offer. Our special wedding rates are available to book until the end of September 2026, subject to availability. Rooms are first come, first served, so we strongly recommend booking early if you’d like to stay there. There are, of course, plenty of other hotels, apartments and holiday accommodation options across Gozo if you’d prefer to stay elsewhere. For room options, our special wedding rates, booking information and everything included in your stay, visit our home page for details.

Do we have to stay at The Grand Hotel?

Not at all. The Grand Hotel is our recommended option because of its proximity to the church, reception venue and ferry, as well as the special rates we’ve arranged for our guests. However, you’re very welcome to choose whichever accommodation works best for you and your family. If you decide to stay elsewhere, we recommend considering how you’ll travel to and from the wedding venues before booking.

Will transport be provided on the wedding day?

As the church, reception venue, Grand Hotel and ferry terminal are all conveniently located close to one another, guests staying locally should find it easy to get around. We’ll share any additional wedding day transport information and final timings closer to the celebration, so please check the website again before travelling.

Is parking available at the church and reception?

Accepted Answer

Yes.Parking is available at Country Terrace Gozo for guests attending the reception. For the ceremony, parking is available at the Mġarr ferry terminal car park, which is only a few minutes’ walk from the Church of the Madonna of Lourdes.It's a 10 minute walk from Mjar ferry terminal car park... also, it should be noted the car park has a 24hr limit. We recommend allowing a little extra time before the ceremony to park and make your way to the church.As the church, Country Terrace, Grand Hotel and ferry terminal are all close to one another, guests staying in the area should find getting around on the wedding day nice and easy.

Will there be food and drinks at the reception?

Absolutely. Come ready to eat, drink and celebrate! Food and drinks will be served at Country Terrace as part of our reception. If you have any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, please make sure you tell us when completing your RSVP so we can work with the venue and catering team to accommodate you wherever possible.

What if I have an allergy or special dietary requirement?

Accepted Answer

Please include all allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements on your RSVP for each person in your party. This includes requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free diets, as well as food allergies.If you or your child has a serious allergy, please make this particularly clear on the form so we can ensure the relevant team is made aware.

What if I need additional assistance or have accessibility requirements?

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the day comfortably. There is a section on the RSVP where you can tell us about any mobility, accessibility, medical or personal requirements for you or anyone in your family. Please give us as much information as you feel comfortable sharing so that we can plan ahead with the venues and event team.

Chic Wedding Attire / Dress to ImpressWe’ll be celebrating in Gozo in June, so please dress with the Mediterranean weather in mind.We recommend checking the forecast before travelling, particularly when choosing outfits for children.

Do you have a wedding gift list?

Having you travel to Gozo to celebrate with us is already a wonderful gift. For anyone who would still like to give us something, rather than a traditional wedding list we have created A Honeymoon with a Purpose. We’ll be travelling to Madagascar and spending part of our honeymoon volunteering on a sea turtle conservation project, supporting work to protect endangered turtles and their marine environment. You can find out more about our plans and contribute to our conservation adventure through the REGISTRY section of our website.
